Cybersecurity and digital service providers | UPDATE

Late in November, we wrote a blog (see here) regarding the proposed changes to the Network and Information Systems (NIS) Regulations detailed in public consultation which closed earlier this year. Since that blog, on the 30th November the government issued its response to that feedback from that consultation and announced that, amongst other things, it is indeed planning to extend the NIIS regulations to apply to digital managed service providers (MSPs).
